FM20 Wonderkid Profile – Faustino Anjorin
Welcome back to this FM20 Wonderkids series, in which I am profiling some of the future stars I have come across during my saves. Be sure to check out the other instalments here.
Today’s piece features Faustino Anjorin, another exciting young player.
A player I have mentioned before in a previous article.
He is an attacking midfielder who can also play in centre-midfield who describes himself as a powerful, technical, box to box midfielder.
Tino was born in Poole, Dorset on the south coast of England on the 23rd November 2001(17 at the start of FM).
He is one of the many English talents at Chelsea & also one of the most exciting.
He joined Chelsea’s development centre programme at under-7 level, officially signing with the club at under-9 level.
He made his Chelsea debut in a 7-1 EFL Cup win over Grimsby Town at Stamford Bridge & made his Premier League debut against Everton in a 4-0 win for Chelsea before the Coronavirus pandemic.
He is a player I’m very excited to see next season for Chelsea, learning from Ziyech, Kovacic & Willian(if he stays). Excellent players to be learning from.
In my personal opinion, his main strength is Dribbling. Running with the ball and creating space for teammates.
What about in the game?
In terms of FM20, his strengths on the game are Finishing, Acceleration, Pace and Strength.
I did say in the previous article that his Dribbling should be higher on FM20 but it is something you can work on with him in training.
What I like about Anjorin:
- One of many wonderkids Chelsea have on FM20
- Another highly-rated attacking midfielder
- Only 17 at the start so loads of time to improve
Where he can improve:
- Dribbling. As I said before his Dribbling should be higher on FM20
- Agility
- Balance
I did a 10-year experiment to see how Anjorin would develop, here is how he looked after 10 years.
In this experiment, he made 154 appearances, scored 40 goals & assisted 55.
