In this series of posts, I will be profiling some of the wonderkids I have come across during my FM20 saves.
Today’s piece will feature an exciting young player, Louis Munteanu
He was born on the 16th June 2002(16/17 at the start of FM20).
He currently plays as a striker for Viitorul Constanța in Romania. He fortunate enough to be managed by Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi
So far Munteanu has played 13 games for Viitorul’s first team, scoring on three occasions.
I have mentioned Munteanu on a previous article outlining my top three wonderkids on this year’s edition of the game (Click here to view it).
In terms of FM20 his strengths are his Finishing, Acceleration, Agility and Pace.
What I like about Munteanu:
- No matter what role I have played him in he always seems to score goals
- He is extremely cheap. He can be bought at the start of your save for less than £2m
- He always seems to develop well in my saves when I have bought him.
- Can turn into a major threat from set-pieces.
Where he can improve:
- Heading. Very low heading. I feel this attribute is essential to every striker
I have mentioned in a previous post, but I did a 10-year experiment to see how Munteanu would develop. In case you missed it here is a screenshot of what his attributes look like.
In this save, he played 295 games, scored 213 goals and assisted 40 in 10 years. That is incredible.
I am currently doing a San Marino challenge and I signed Munteanu for £1m. This is what he looks like so far in that save.
He has featured in 65 games, scoring on 35 occasions and registering eight assists.
I recommend signing Munteanu. He’s one I now I sign him on every save I do.
